Tiramisu Cups & Dessert Board Recipe

A perfect end to a hearty pizza or pasta meal, these delectable tiramisu cups are served on a board with other classic Italian cookies.

Ingredients

Tiramisu Cups:

  • 8–12 ladyfingers
  • 1/2 cup brewed espresso
  • 2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder, for dusting

Dessert Board:

  • Matilde Vicenzi Minivoglie Assorted Cookies
  • Matilde Vicenzi Amaretto D'Italia Cookies
  • Borgo de' Medici Antico Mulino Almond Biscotti
  • Mini Fabbri Amarena Cherries
  • Peluso Covered Hazelnut Cookies
  • Sapori Dal Forno Chocolate Hazelnut Cannoli

Directions

Step 1

Brew the espresso and set aside to cool slightly while you make the filling.

Step 2

In a large bowl using a hand mixer, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

Step 3

Add in the softened mascarpone cheese and gently fold into whipped cream until fully combined.

Step 4

If desired, transfer to a piping bag fitted with a large round tip.

Step 5

In a small bowl, mix the brewed espresso and coffee liqueur, if using.

Step 6

Break the ladyfingers in half and quickly dip both sides into the coffee mixture, then add enough to cover the bottom of your glass.

Step 7

Pipe or spread a layer of mascarpone cream on top of the ladyfingers then repeat with layers of ladyfingers and mascarpone cream until you've reached the top of the glass.

Step 8

Cover and chill in the fridge for 2 hours before serving.

Step 9

Lightly dust with cocoa powder and garnish with extra ladyfingers if desired.

Step 10
