These buttery palmier cookies are called orejitas in Mexico, which means "little ears," because of their shape. Baked from an authentic Mexican recipe using fresh natural ingredients, these flaky cookies are dusted with sugar. Known as one of L.A.'s premier Mexican bakeries, La Monarca donates 1% of its proceeds to its partner, Ecolife Conservation, to protect monarch butterflies.
