3 DIY Fall Placesettings

Add an extra pinch of festivity to your fall feast or Thanksgiving table with one of these three floral-filled DIY placesettings from @craftedsparrow.

  • Various dried florals
  • 6” mini grapevine wreath (or similar type)
  • Mini glass bud vase
  • Natural jute rope ribbon
  • Dehydrated orange slices
  • Napkin rings
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Cardstock (optional)

1. Dried Florals & Orange Slice Bundle

Step 1
Gather desired dried florals (about 6–8 small stems will be enough for each setting). Bundle them together, and secure with a piece of jute rope ribbon.

Step 2
Add two varying-sized dehydrated orange slices by stringing them onto an additional piece of jute rope ribbon tied around your bundled arrangement. Finish with a small bow.

2. Bud Vase Dried Floral Bouquet

Step 1
Place a wood-beaded napkin ring with a small tassel over the neck of your glass bud vase.

Step 2
Gather a about eight small dried floral stems in a variety of colors and textures (or keep things simple and go with one variety of stem).

Step 3
Arrange them in your bud vase, and finish with a personalized cardstock name tag, if desired.

3. Dried Floral Mini Wreath

Step 1
Gather a variety of dried florals.

Step 2
Use hot glue to attach the largest stems to your wreath.

Step 3
Layer your second largest stems on top of the first. Continue this with all your dried floral stems.

Step 4
Wrap a small length of jute rope ribbon around the top center of your wreath, being sure to cover where all your stems are glued to the wreath. With hot glue, carefully secure the jute rope ribbon to the back side of the wreath.
