  • Depending on the item(s) you purchase on worldmarket.com and the location to which the items will be delivered, different shipping methods are available.
  • At Checkout, you will be prompted to choose a shipping method for your item(s). Shipping costs are based on the shipping method of choice and the value of the total order along with any applicable surcharges.
  • Your total shipping charges will be automatically calculated during Checkout prior to the completion of your order.

Standard Ground (4-9 Business Days)

Most items will be shipped to the 48 contiguous United States via Standard Ground service. You can expect your order to arrive within 4-9 business days after leaving our warehouse. Standard Ground items leave our warehouse within 1-2 business days after order receipt. For oversize or heavy items (e.g., furniture) see Freight below. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States

We're happy to offer free ground shipping on orders of $59 or more! Simply apply code WMFS59 at checkout. This offer applies after all discounts and promotions and before taxes and fees. Please note that some items—such as online-only products, furniture, rugs, and select pieces—are excluded, and expedited shipping options (2-day or overnight) still have additional charges. Free shipping isn't available for Alaska or Hawaii, and we're unable to make adjustments on previous purchases.
Most items will give you the option to upgrade your shipping method for faster delivery (such as Second Day or Overnight service). If you choose to upgrade your shipping method, your order must be received and clear credit authorization by noon (EST) for Overnight and noon (EST) for Second Day or your order may not be processed until the following business day. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
  • Most oversize or oddly shaped items (Freight) must be shipped alone via a freight trucking company. Due to the nature of this service, we cannot offer expedited shipping. Delivery is by appointment Monday – Friday depending on your area.
  • Freight items usually arrive within 9-19 business days after leaving our warehouse and most Oversized items leave our warehouse within 5 business days. An estimate of when an item leaves our warehouse is indicated on the Product Detail page. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
  • Some remote areas are covered on a less frequent schedule than the major metropolitan areas and may require additional delivery time.
  • Most Freight deliveries will be delivered to the threshold of your home (garage, front entrance, etc.) or first dry area. The item will be kept in its original packaging, and assembly is not included.
Oversize items cost more to ship due to overall size and/or weight. Therefore, a delivery surcharge will be billed in addition to the standard shipping charge. The actual amount of the surcharge will be noted on the individual product detail pages.
Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii is not available at this time.
Shipping to U.S. Territories, including U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and Puerto Rico, or to APO/FPO addresses is not available at this time.
Shipping to PO Boxes is not available at this time.
International shipping is not available at this time.
A selection of World Market’s one-of-a-kind CRAFT products are delivered within 3-5 weeks from the order date. Once ready to be delivered, our delivery partner will contact you to arrange the delivery date. Your product will be brought to your home fully assembled and positioned in your preferred room. We will even unpack it and remove all of the packaging materials.

Q: Can I return my made-to-order item if I change my mind?
A: Unfortunately, once an order is placed for a custom made-to-order item, the sale is final, and we cannot accept returns or exchanges. Please ensure that you are certain about your selection before placing your order.

Q: Can I make changes to my made-to-order item after I've placed my order?
A: We understand that preferences may change, but unfortunately, once an order is placed, we are unable to make alterations to the design or specifications of made-to-order items. We encourage you to carefully review your selections before completing your purchase to ensure your satisfaction.

Q: How long will it take to fabricate my made-to-order item?
A: Our standard lead time for making made-to-order items is 2-4 weeks from the date of purchase. However, during busier periods such as holidays or special promotions, this lead time may extend to 4-6 weeks. We appreciate your patience during these times as we work diligently to craft your item with care.

Q: Can I expedite the production process for my made-to-order item?
A: Currently, we do not offer expedited or rush production for made-to-order items. Each piece is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, and rushing the process may compromise the quality of the final product.

Q: How long does shipping take once my made-to-order item is fabricated?
A: Once your item is crafted for you by our vendor, standard carrier shipping times apply (please see our info about Shipping to the 48 Contiguous United States.) You will receive a shipping notification with tracking information once your order has been dispatched, allowing you to track its progress until it arrives at your doorstep.
