Its dense crystalline surface adds complex flavors to thin cuts of meat, fish or shellfish and retains heat evenly on the grill or in the oven. You can also chill the plate in the fridge to serve appetizers, or dry it out and use it to bake chocolate chip cookies for a hint of salty with your sweet.
