Ginger Hot Chocolate Recipe

Turn up the heat on your holiday hot chocolate with a dash of zesty fresh ginger.

2 cups milk

4 tbsp cocoa powder

2 tbsp chocolate chips

2 tbsp granulated sugar

1 tsp ginger, or more to taste

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

pinch of cinnamon

pinch of kosher salt


1. Add all ingredients to a small saucepan or mini Dutch oven.

2. Set over medium heat and whisk until the hot cocoa is smooth.

3. Taste and add more ginger or sugar as desired.
