Step 1 - Create the Base

Step 1 - Create the Base

Trace outline of mossy mat onto cardboard and cut out, 1/4” in from the line. Bend 2 poppy stems into L, 5” from end of stem and hot glue onto cardboard at 180 degrees from each other, L of the stems should go in opposite directions and lie close to edge of the circle.

Place mossy mat over cardboard circle. Bend stems into an arch and secure with floral wire in 3 places.

Glue additional shorter flower stems and leaves at the base of each stem. Set everything into the tray. Add micro string lights to the floral arch.

Step 3 - Prepare Table Settings

Step 3 - Prepare Table Settings

Hammer bottle caps flat to create plates/chargers and spray paint off-white. Create a table runner by cutting fabric to approx. 1 1/2” x 10” (create a nice fringed edge by snipping 1/4” and then ripping the fabric).

Create egg shell bowls by using tweezers to make a larger hole in top of egg and then small curved scissors can be used to cut away the rest.

Glue a small piece of moss “salad” into the bottom of each egg bowl and using tiny dot of glue, affix bowl to charger. Create vase by sanding base of eucalyptus pod flat, add tiny sprigs of Queen Anne’s lace to vase.
