Becoming a Member

How do I enroll in the World Market Rewards program?
The World Market Rewards program is free, and signing up only takes a few minutes. There are three ways to enroll:
  1. Online: Visit WorldMarket.com/Rewards click "Join Now" and follow the instructions to enroll.
  2. In-store: Sign up at any of our stores by simply creating a 10-digit Member ID and providing a working email address. You can then create your online profile at WorldMarket.com/Rewards by clicking "Sign In" and signing in with the email address you used to sign-up for World Market Rewards program and your Member ID.
  3. In-store: Text to enroll, you may text a store's JOIN code to 97530 to enroll in World Market Rewards
Does it cost anything to become a member?
No. It's fast, easy and free. There is no fee to join and no ongoing membership fee.
Who can join World Market Rewards?
World Market Rewards is open to U.S. residents (excluding Puerto Rico and U.S. territories) at least 18 years of age who provide and maintain a working email address.
I signed up to be a World Market Rewards member in a Cost Plus World Market store, what do I need to do to have full access to all of the benefits?
To access to all of the World Market Rewards program benefits, you must sign-in at WorldMarket.com/Rewards by providing the email address you used to sign-up for the World Market Rewards program and your 10-digit Member ID, and then complete your online profile by providing information including your 10-digit Member ID, a working email address, phone number and mailing address. In order to receive notification of Reward coupons, members must opt-in to receive emails from Cost Plus World Market or join our Text message program.
I am not a World Market Rewards member, what do I need to do to become a World Market Rewards member and have full access to all benefits?
Visit WorldMarket.com/Rewards, click "Join Now" and follow the instructions. You'll have to provide information including a 10-digit Member ID, a working email address, phone number and mailing address.

Managing Your Member ID and Profile

Where can I find my Member ID?
Your 10-digit Member ID is created when you enroll either at the store or online at WorldMarket.com/Rewards. It can also be found on the Account Home page once you sign-in at WorldMarket.com/Rewards.
Can I use any 10-digit Member ID?
Yes, you can select any 10-digit number as your Member ID, as long as it is not already in use.
When do I use my Member ID?
You enter your 10-digit Member ID during the checkout process in store or online. By using your Member ID every time you make a purchase, we can track your eligible purchases so you can earn Rewards. You must enter your World Market Rewards Member ID at checkout to receive points for purchases. Your Member ID may also be required to redeem World Market Rewards, coupons and offers.
How do I update or change my Member ID?
You can email us at support@worldmarketexplorer.com for help with Member ID requests.
I have two Member IDs. Can I combine them?
Yes, you may consolidate two or more Member IDs into one. Email us at support@worldmarketexplorer.com for help with Member ID requests.
How do I change my contact information?
Sign-in to your account at WorldMarket.com/Rewards and select My Information. From My Information you can update your name, mailing address, email address, phone number and password.

Getting & Using Rewards

When I sign up in store do my purchases count toward Shopper Rewards?
Yes, all eligible in store and online purchases count toward Shopper Rewards. You earn $10 in Shopper Rewards for every 200 points you earn. $1 of eligible spend = 1 point. You'll receive an email when a Shopper Reward has been issued to you. In addition, Shopper Rewards can be found in your online account after you sign-in at WorldMarket.com/Rewards under My Rewards or can delivered via Text message program if you are signed up for the World Market Rewards text message program.
How do I get points for my in-store purchases?
You must enter your World Market Rewards Member ID at checkout to receive points for your purchases. Pointscannot be given for prior purchases or retroactively if your Member ID is not entered at time of purchase. Please allow up to 72 hours after your in-store purchase for your points balance to be updated on your World Market Rewards homepage. You must sign-in to access your Account.
Do I get points for my purchases on WorldMarket.com?

I forgot to enter my Member ID at checkout. Can I still receive points for my purchase?
No. You must enter your Member ID at time of purchase to receive points for your purchases. Pointscannot be given for prior purchases or retroactively if your Member ID is not entered at time of purchase.
How do I receive Shopper Rewards or Coffee Rewards?
If you are subscribed to our email list or text message program, we will notify you by email or Mobile Alert when you have a Shopper Reward or Coffee Reward available. You can access your Rewards by signing in to your World Market Rewards account at WorldMarket.com/Rewards. If you enrolled in store, you must complete your online profile by signing in to your account at WorldMarket.com/Rewards to access your Rewards. You can sign-in using the email address you signed up for the World Market Rewards program with and your 10-digit Member ID. In addition, you can enroll in our text message program and you will receive your Shopper Rewards and Coffee Rewards via text message. You must also be opted-in to receive emails from Cost Plus World Market in order to receive Reward notifications via email.
Where do I go to check my Shopper Reward and Coffee Reward statuses?
Login to WorldMarket.com/Rewards to check your available Rewards.
How do I use my Rewards in store?
There are three ways to access and use your Rewards:
  1. Sign-in to your World Market Rewards account at WorldMarket.com/Rewards, navigate to "My Rewards" and show your Reward coupon to the store associate.
  2. If you are enrolled in the World Market Rewards text message program, you can get your Rewards sent straight to your mobile device.
  3. Sign-in to your World Market Rewards account at WorldMarket.com/Rewards, navigate to "My Rewards" and print and present the Reward at checkout.
Please note: a maximum of 10 Reward coupons may be used per transaction.
How do I use my Rewards online?
To apply your Rewards at online checkout, sign in to your World Market Rewards account at WorldMarket.com/Rewards, navigate to the "My Rewards" page and apply your Rewards to your cart.
I know I earned a Reward, but why didn't I receive an email notification?
It's possible that the notification email landed in your Spam folder. Please make sure to add WorldMarket@email.worldmarket.com to your address book. You need to be opted-in to receive emails from us to receive Reward notifications. You can manage your email opt-in preference by signing into WorldMarket.com/Rewards and going to the "eMail Preferences" tab. Unfortunately, we cannot reissue the Reward after it has expired.
Can I use my Rewards to make purchases on WorldMarket.com?
Yes, your Rewards can be used for online purchases. Rewards are subject to the exclusions as stated on the Reward offer, and are also posted in your account at WorldMarket.com/Rewards. In order to redeem your Reward, you must enter your Member ID and apply the Reward to your cart. To apply your Rewards at online checkout, sign in to your World Market Rewards account at WorldMarket.com/Rewards, navigate to the "My Rewards" page and apply your Rewards to your cart.
Is there any limit on the number of Reward coupons I can use in a single transaction?
Yes, a maximum of 10 Reward coupons may be used per transaction.
What happens if I buy an item with a Reward and later return the item? Do I get my Reward back?
No, a Reward can only be used once. If you return or exchange an item, you forfeit any Reward(s) that you used for that purchase and your points balance will not be re-credited.

Shopper Rewards

What purchases count towards my points balance?
Members are rewarded for nearly all of their in-store and online merchandise purchases. Alcohol, gift cards, discounts, taxes, shipping and other fees are currently excluded. A $10 Shopper Reward coupon will be issued for every $200 in qualifying purchases.
Is there a limit to how many Shopper Rewards I can earn?
There is no limit to how many Shopper Rewards a Member can earn.
Do I need to spend a certain amount to have my purchase count towards a Shopper Reward?
No. Any eligible purchase will add to your points balance.
When does my points balance expire?
Your points balance will not expire as long as you make an eligible purchase within 18 months.
When will my Shopper Reward expire?
Shopper Rewards are valid for 60 days from the date issued.
What is the difference between "Pending Points" and "Posted Points" on my Shopper Reward status?
Your Shopper Reward eligible points will be in a "Pending" status for 7 days from the in store purchase or online shipment date. Pending Points becomes Posted Points on the 8th day after your in-store purchase or online shipment date. Posted Points is added to your points balance and counts towards the issuance of your next Shopper Reward.

Coffee Rewards

Do I have to do anything to get credit for my World Market coffee purchases after I enroll in store?
Yes, you need to activate your membership at WorldMarket.com/Rewards after you enroll in a store. If you do not activate your membership after 12 months, the credit for your World Market coffee purchases will be forfeited.
How does the Coffee Reward work?
Purchase six 12-oz. or larger bags of World Market Coffee in store. Remember, you must enter your Member ID at checkout to get credit for your purchases. Coffee Rewards are not available online.
When does my Coffee Reward expire?
Coffee Rewards are good for 12 months and expire on a rolling 12 month basis.
Once a Coffee Reward is issued, how long do I have to use it?
Coffee Rewards are valid for 60 days from the date issued.

Member Assistance

How do I cancel my Membership?
Contact us via email at support@worldmarketexplorer.com if you wish to cancel your membership. Allow 2-4 weeks for your cancellation to be completed.
Who can I contact regarding the World Market Rewards program?
You can contact customer service at support@worldmarketexplorer.com. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response.

Protecting Your Privacy

Why do you need my email address?
All Reward coupons will be issued online. When a Reward coupon is issued, we will send you notification via email letting you know that your Reward coupon is available; if you are enrolled in our text message program you will also receive your Reward coupons via text message. Please refer to our Privacy Policy at [www.worldmarket.com/privacy] for information regarding sharing of your email information.
Will you be collecting and using data about my shopping and purchases?
We will collect and store information about your purchases in order to calculate when you're eligible to receive a Reward, and to enhance your shopping experience by notifying you about products, services and promotions that we think may be of interest to you. How do I opt-out of email?
You can manage your email opt-in preference by signing into WorldMarket.com/Rewards and navigating to the "eMail Preferences" tab.

Text Message Program for World Market Rewards

How do I sign up for the text message program?
To sign up for receive your Rewards, coupons and more via you mobile device, simply text SIGNUP to 95730. You'll then be prompted to reply with your 10-digit World Market Rewards Member ID to verify that you are eligible to enroll in the program.
What are the benefits of joining the text message program?
After you opt-in, you'll receive a coupon for a discount off your next purchase, delivered directly to your mobile device. Then, you'll start to receive your Rewards and coupons directly to your mobile device, making it easier than ever to access and use your coupons. You'll also receive mobile-exclusive offers, as well as alerts about sales and brand events. Lastly, you can view all coupons and Rewards available to you at any time by texting COUPONS to 95730.
Who can join the Cost Plus World Market text message program?
Text message program are available to all members of the World Market Rewards program. If you're not currently a Member, you can join today, for free! The World Market Rewards program is open to U.S. residents (excl. Puerto Rico and U.S. territories) at least 18 years of age who provide and maintain a working email address and complete an enrollment profile. Within 30-45 minutes of enrollment in the World Market Rewards program, you can sign up for text message program.
I have two Member IDs. Can I sign up with both?
No. Every mobile device can only enroll one Member ID. In addition, in order to maximize your spend and earn more Rewards, we recommend consolidating your Member IDs into one membership account. Email us at support@worldmarketexplorer.com for assistance.
I share my World Market Rewards account with someone else. Can we enroll both of our mobile phones in the text message program?
No. Each World Market Rewards account can only have one mobile phone number associated with it.
I no longer wish to receive text message program from Cost Plus World Market. How do I unsubscribe?
You can opt out at any time by texting STOP to 95730. You will receive one additional message confirming that your opt-out has been processed.
I live outside the U.S. and don't have a U.S. cell phone number. Can I enroll in the text message program?
Unfortunately we do not currently support non-U.S. cell phone numbers. You are still eligible to participate in the World Market Rewards program and can access your Rewards and coupons online at WorldMarket.com/Rewards as well as receive them via email.
How many messages will I receive per month?
Frequency depends on user behavior.
If I’m in the text message program, will my mobile number be shared with other companies?
Your mobile number will not be shared with any company other than Cost Plus World Market, its parent company Bed Bath & Beyond, affiliate companies including buybuy Baby, Harmon Face Values, Christmas Tree Shops, One Kings Lane, PersonalizationMall.com, and other business partners as set forth in the Cost Plus World Market Privacy Policy.
