World Market to Help VH1 Save The Music

Culture, art and music are all part of who we are — and so is a deeply held belief in giving back to our communities.

That’s why partnering with the VH1 Save The Music Foundation was a natural choice! This holiday season, World Market is joining the effort to create awareness of the positive impact music has in the lives of young people. We’re proud to support the VH1 Save The Music Foundation’s commitment to ensuring that music instruction is always essential to a complete education. It gives children the tools and confidence to excel in academics and life.

During this season of joy and giving, we’re celebrating the power of music and how it unites all of us at this special time of year. We’ll be hosting student musicians in select stores to spread cheer to our guests.

Meet the Young Musicians

Donyea is in 7th grade at Park Place Community Middle School 266 in New York City. He plays the cello, one of his favorite instruments because it makes him feel happy. Donyea plays piano well, and plays the violin a little bit while also learning the saxophone.

Capture

Jayden, now in high school, plays the violin, plus alto and tenor saxophone. Playing music helped him decide which schools to apply to for high school.
