Sloe Gin Fizz Cocktail Recipe - Discover, a blog by World Market

There are so many things we love about Sloe Gin Fizz: its refreshing yet warming qualities, how it represents the in-between days of end-of-summer and early fall, and its delightful ombre appearance. Welcome autumn with this sublime cocktail treat, a wonderful combination of a traditional English spirit and a tart, lemony flavor. Bottoms up!

Hi all, we’ve since changed the recipe to include about 1 oz of simply syrup or to taste. But note that Sloe Gin is already pretty sweet! No exact measurement for the soda water as it’s used to top-up.

I think what Susan asking for was how much simple syrup to use – there’s no measurement given in the recipe for that.

Sloe Gin is red. It is made from the Sloe berry.

Susan, simple syrup is one part water, one part sugar boiled until it has a syrup type liquid.
The real question is where does the red come from? I’m loving the color but none of the above mentioned ingredients have any red.

No measurement given for the soda and simple syrup.
