Cubanos are hands-down at the top of my list of favorite sandwiches. The melt-in-your mouth pork and salty ham combo gets me every time. Add the tangy pickles and mustard, and I’m totally smitten.
Since these are a crowd-favorite, they are great to serve at parties on a slate cheese board with an extra side of mustard. Although they are so easy to assemble, they’re hearty enough to make and serve for lunch.
I suggest making a little extra pork to use for dinner—I’m all about maximizing time in the kitchen, folks.
