Halloween is that wonderful time of year where everyone gets to eat a little more candy than they normally do. While snagging a bag of chocolate treats at the store is easy, I’ve found that making a quick batch of halloween bark is a simple, festive way to get into the halloween mood.

This spooky chocolate bark is such a fun halloween treat to make and a great gift to share with family and friends of all ages!

Making a halloween chocolate bark is a really straightforward process. And once you make your chocolate base, you can use whatever candy toppings you like—the sky’s the limit! For this recipe, I used an assortment of delicious candy (the monster candy eyes were one of my favorite finds!).

To Jenna H: Candy eyes are available in the baking section of craft stores like Jo-ann. There are usually two sizes available.

This looks wonderful and so easy! We have visitors who are dairy and gluten free and I am going to try making this with dark (non-dairy version) of chocolate with GF pretzels, etc. Thank you for the great idea and cute pic!
