The weather outside may be frightful, but we’re certain that the hot chocolate inside your house is simply delightful. Liz Marie, who shares DIY and home decor tips from her eponymous blog, created this cozy DIY hot chocolate bar with a few essentials: in addition to the staples (hot cocoa powder, marshmallows, spoons, straws, cinnamon and salt), she upped the rustic character of the DIY bar with cute mugs, a hot water dispenser, wooden crates and a chalkboard sign.
Her favorite hot chocolate flavors? Hands down, Mexicocoa and European Dark Chocolate.
DIY Hot Chocolate Bar Decor
In addition to vintage bottles and candles, a freshly trimmed tree, a magnolia garland, and shimmery holiday pieces, blogger-sisters Vanessa and Heather of At the Picket Fence created their own cozy Christmas moment with this hot cocoa station.
They tastefully displayed their ingredients in a variety of different glass jars, and artfully styled teaspoons, straws and other hot chocolate accoutrement in the same area to create a distinctly Christmas moment. (Can’t you just hear Christmas carols playing in the background?)
