I make iced coffee with this using a 10-cup percolator and adding 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk. The balance of flavors is great and there is no oily or slimy effect; just clean coffee. I originally found this coffee at Starbucks as a premium item that had to be brewed one cup at a time with the Clover Brewing System.

I really like this coffee. This is my second favorite coffee. The Guatamalian is my first but like to switch them off and on.

For brewed coffee, I prefer the Kauai Peaberry, by far! (Where did THAT go?!) I miss it and tried this instead. This was great for cappuccino, etc. when bought as whole bean and fresh ground. It is rich, deep and fully flavored. A little smoky and earthy, with a slight fruity bite that lingers. I like the buttery richness of the Kauai Peaberry better. My husband likes how robust this one is. For me it was a little too intense or earthy to be my favorite.

I like to try different varieties of coffee, and I usually keep going back to the Costa Rica Tarrazu at World Market because it is awesome! I was looking forward to trying the Tanzanian Peaberry, but was pretty disappointed. Just my opinion, but I'm not impressed and I'm looking forward to whatever is next. It really reminds me of plain old 8 o'clock coffee and is not worth the price at all. I hope I remember not to buy this one again.

This coffee is VERY disappointing -- especially considering the price, which is about twice as much as the better roasts that Cost Plus offers. The beans are tiny... and they are completely DRY. Good coffee is oily! And the flavor is basically about the same as the mass produced commercial junk you can purchase on any supermarket shelf. You'd be well advised not to spend your $$ on this one.
