love it This tea is really fragrant and delicious. It is minty, minty, minty! :) If you are using a filter, I'd suggest making sure it has a fine mesh first as the leaves are small and without a fine mesh you will have a lot of loose tea leaves in your cup. Not a criticism of the tea, just a fact. February 18, 2013
Love this! I just love this cooling mint tea. I cold brew it and it just taste so fantastic! February 24, 2011
Love this Tea!! I have been looking for a loose leaf green tea for some time. I bought a new infuser and needed loose tea. I picked this up to try and was very pleased with it. It is smooth and delicious! January 5, 2011
Whoa! Get out the Zills and Tamborine! Soothing … rich, tasty, cleansing, minty, aromatic, ethnic. Our favorite Moroccan restaurant in Portland, Oregon—Marrakesh—serves this hot, super-minted tea sweetened to the fourth degree as a gourmand after-dinner digestive. Very calming after an eating adventure. Cleanses the palate and makes the breath sweet. My family loves it. Fills the house with a fresh and exotic aroma; bohemian-like. Moroccan Mint Tea works its wonders by allowing the stomach's sphincter muscle to relax, facilitating easier digestion and … burping. Not to worry, burping is an ancient custom indicating one has enjoyed a delicious meal, so go ahead … relax and enjoy. Just make sure you are not going directly to bed after this tea, especially if you have GERD. This much mint is best-taken two hours before lying prone; allow that muscle time to tighten up a bit, and sleep on your left side if you are nervous about it. So slip on your Moroccan zills, ready your tambourine and high-pour this hot tea into a warmed Moroccan tea glass. Mmmm. Caveat: if you neither like mint nor sugar nor belly-dancing … skip this tea. It must be super sweet or you'll not be able to enjoy its benefits ... nor be able to belly-dance. :) Here's how to brew it! 1. Pre-warm 38 ounce glass teapot 2. Add ¼ cup tea leaves to infuser 3. Bring cold water to a near boil; rest 30 seconds 4. High pour rested water over leaves allowing water to cool and aerate before contacting leaves 5. Stir leaves about 6. Place lidded pot on warmer; cover top to retain heat 7. Steep 1-3 minutes to avoid bitterness 8. Remove infuser (save leaves for second brewing of 2-4 minute steep) DO NOT squeeze leaves Either dedicate one tetsubin to this deeply-flavored tea or use a glass teapot to brew! This tea will own your pot if anything but glass is used; or do you want everything to taste minty? Enjoy your yummy antioxidants, y'all! October 14, 2010
