Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful! This ancient tea eases the functioning organs of the body. In other words, you feel better on the inside. Because this has such a wonderful effect on internal organs, I like to drink it all day, but it doesn't taste that good. Combine with Jasmine and Mint tea, also add whatever you really like, to the mix. The mixed Tea gets me through that part of the afternoon when I get so tired. But I don't get tired when drinking this tea - and it's helped get me through the very difficult winter! Day after day I'm feeling better and better! Wonderful! March 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by wonderful taste I love this tea and I'm happy its available online. It has a strong yet smooth (not bitter) flavor. Great replacement for morning coffee January 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by One of the best/healthiest teas in the world. Firstly I am giving 5 stars for the tea itself. Puerh is an incredible tea that more people need to know about. As for the quality sold at the World Market, I am not too sure about although comparing by the taste, it seems legit. I have bought teas from a lot of places and I'd like to call myself a tea connoisseur. Since the label says it is from the Yunnan region, it must be good, IF that's true of course. Try this tea...Knock on wood, since I have started drinking it, I haven't been sick once. After the first cup, your anti-oxidant levels increase by a whooping 48%. It aids digestion so much that you can literally feel it. Good cholesterol rises, the bad falls. It cleanses the blood, it boosts your immune system, it helps the skin. (If you have acne problems, this will clear it faster than any medicine from the dermatologist will.) It is packed with vitamin C and multiple anti oxidants, so much that it beats fruits like blue berries and black berries. I can go on and on about the benefits from it but there are also some that haven't been discovered yet. Just know that you will have your natural energy % boosted, you will feel naturally good, you will look good, and you will live longer. Basically you feel immortal. As for brewing, the instructions on the back are way wrong. -You submerge the leaves in boiling water, dump the wash after about 10 seconds so that you can wash away any molds or harmful bacteria since it IS aged green tea. -Second, brew with boiling water anywhere from 20 seconds, up to 12 hours. You will not get the tannins that you will get from other teas. Even if you steep it over night, it will still be smooth in the morning. If you just want a regular cup, not something extra strong, then do 20 seconds, and increase by 15 seconds with each brew. -The times are not set at all. This tea is like wine. It depends on your taste buds, so play with it and see what you like better. September 18, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Energizer This is a really great tea, dark and flavorful. Yes, if it is over-steeped it will produce a fishy (freshwater) like odor, however, this is avoidable by sticking to 5 minutes or less steep time and/or steeping with water that has not quite reached a "whistle boil." The best part of this tea is the amazing energy that comes from just one or two cups and that also comes WITHOUT the crash one experiences with coffee for example. I have done some reading on this tea and it seems that there may be some evidence to suggest that it aids in weight loss and proper digestion, etc. I don't know if that is true or not, but if not it is still a delicious tea that has certainly got ME moving! Rated 5 out of 5 by Pu-erh Loose Leaf Tea I love this tea. I took it on a trip to the beach this summer and shared it with my 3 year old grandson and 8 year old grand-daughter. They loved the taste and prefered it to sodas. With record high temps the tea was an easy fluid replacement for the children. I must add that while comical on our journey home grandad had to stop 3 times within the first hour for the 3 year old to go to the restroom..Grandad kept saying no more tea for the little man....
