I used to order Kona coffee right from Hawaii until my distributor went out of business. I found the Kona coffee at World Market to be as good as the coffee ordered straight from the islands and a lot less expensive. I buy the whole beans and grind them myself. It is always a treat to have Kona coffee in the morning. Although I buy a variety of coffee from World Market, the Kona coffee is my favorite. The aroma that filters through the house is so tempting that my husband will get up and out of bed quickly. Its unique flavor makes this coffee well worth buying and the extra few dollars is worth it.

So far, my choice of coffees from World Market is the Peruvian coffee. For a Kona blend, I thought this would be somewhat tastier. It's fine, but not delicious. If you like a more robust smooth coffee, go with the Peruvian.

The coffee has great aroma upon opening the package. This is my first try at the kona coffee. Although it is a blend I was sure it would be good.
Flavor- sweet and bright with a hint of floral. Definitely awaken the taste buds. Very smooth, no acidity. It definitely had the flavors I was looking for.
Body-....none. A little washed down. This is one of the lightest coffees I've had. I wished it had a medium body to carry it's fragrant flavors. I have to scoop extra spoonfuls to make it heavier.
I think I will try the 100% kona next time.

I am a big fan of all the World Market coffee's here however having tried 100% Kona and maybe because Kona is on top of my favorites, this blend was disappointing. I can smell the Kona, I can hint a taste of the Kona but it is over powered by the blend. There's not much kona flavor or signature smoothness to speak for a Kona Coffee. I would be excited to see them carry a 100% Kona.
