I received this coffee as a gift a few years ago. My husband and I liked it so much it is the only coffee we drink now. It is a medium roast and body coffee. It is not to strong and is very smooth to drink.

The aroma when I first opened the package was so precise, like Turtle Chocolate. The taste was amazing for decaf.

I'm a heavy WM decaf Italian roast drinker - I like my coffee strong on flavor and light on stimulants. But to mix it up a little bit (and when I don't want to mess with cleaning out my burr grinder) I grab the bag of WM decaf Texas Turtle already ground coffee from the cupboard and enjoy a quicker pot of coffee. The flavor is good - you can definitely taste a nutty carameliness - although I'd like it a little richer. But I buy enough of the larger bags of WM decaf Italian roast (which I highly recommend!) so that I'm rewarded with free coffee coupons through their WM Explorer perks program. The coupons are only good for a 12 oz bag, and since I'm an exclusively decaf drinker, I'm limited on my selection. So I go for the decaf Texas Turtle and decaf French roast, both already ground. Like I mentioned above, it's a nice change of pace.

this is a good decaf but honestly I find it pales in comparison to World Market's Decaf French Roast. That one is my fave.
