Black cherry jam is impossible to find in most supermarkets. I use it to make a sauce for roast pork (one jar jam, melted; red wine, balsamic, soy sauce, mushrooms, shallots, Dijon mustard...) so I always have a stash on hand. It's nice and tart, not too sweet, and the price is great. I just wish I could order it on line, because I'm an hour from the nearest CPWM. I've also used the CPWM plum jam for this purpose - both are great!
