They are great accents for the log cabin I am remodeling for vacation rental. I may spray paint them brown. Rated 5 out of 5 by Elizabeth76 Charming and Unique I purchased this lamp for my children's nursery, which has a woodland theme. It's perfect! I love that it's not overtly childish (I don't think it's even advertised for children), so it's not something that will be quickly outgrown. The quality seems fine -- this is more than I'd usually spend on a lamp, but I was willing to pay a bit extra for the unique design (I love the little bird!). Overall, I'm very pleased with the lamp, and am glad I decided to make the purchase. November 6, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by eawalton Not what I expected Based on the 5 star reviews and the pictures, I thought this lamp would be great. The lamp that arrived today, however, is disappointing. The cord (which is curiously NOT in the picture) is coming out the front of the lamp base. Why would you not put it in the back? This makes the cord very visible with the bird turned facing the front. I am not thrilled. The lamp shade I purchased at Target does not fit on the base either, though this could be a Target issue, not WM as the other two shades I tried did go on, but they don't match very well. As I live too far from a WM, I will keep the lamp. I can't afford to lose $15 on shipping expenses for a lamp I am not thrilled with, unfortunately. Not worth $45 in my estimation. Maybe $20 as a novelty item. October 18, 2014
