Won't Hold Red

I'm having to return this wine rack because the holes are too small to hold anything but the narrowest necked bottle. Most reds, some whites and all bubbling wines don't fit.

Color me disappointed.

Expectations Met

Just this morning, the Mrs. and I purchased this wine rack. I had spotted it in-store a few weeks ago, and was enamored. This was our first wine rack, and it works well.

The rack's build is solid. The wood is sturdy, and there are two metal bars reinforcing the inside of the rack. Mounting was truly very easy with the included hardware. Wine bottles fit snug into each cavity, and there is no question that each individual bottle is safe.

The fear, however, is the defiance of gravity. You sort of just have to trust that the mount will hold. We mounted into drywall with the anchors it came with, and it feels secure. But there's something naturally unsettling about something so fragile and potentially very messy hanging a few feet above the floor.

Overall, I am very pleased with this product. I would feel a lot better if I was able to mount it in studs, but we have limited space. If you are worried about buying, don't be.
