She loved it and I now want one too!! You could also put one of those jar drink dispensers on it if you couldn't find a stand. Love it! October 24, 2013

It is definitely a "one of a kind" piece, and your next door neighbor or best friend is NOT going to have one. Since it is Fall, I am using the cake stand to display one large gourd on a bed of twigs. It's unique, and looks quite expensive. It was a good price to begin with, and I got it almost free with a gift card! September 18, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by MWes Beautiful and Unique-Great Wedding Gift I purchased the Wood Bark Pedestal for my friend's wedding; it was on her registry. It immediately caught my eye, since it is something that I would have picked out for myself if I were in a store. Some of the reviews had said that it had a distinctive odor and these people were accurate. It smells a little smokey, and to me, that makes it seem more authentic. I could see how many this could affect what you choose to serve on it. I can't say anything for the wear and tear of the item since I will not be using it, but I will say that I'd be happy to receive this someday as a gift. May 21, 2014

I was excited to purchase this stand because it was very nice looking, however when it arrived we could literally smell it through the box. I thought someone was burning something or cooking bacon. It has a very strong burnt smokey smell. The smell even came off on my hands. So I unfortunately had to send the stand back because there's no way I would put food on something that smells so terrible. I saw that as the product being defective, but the company still deducted shipping from my return. November 18, 2013
