Comments about Wood St Martin Dining Armchair:

We purchased 6 of these armchairs for use with the St. Martin dining table (purchased at the same time), and they were good value for the money, although figure on at least 20-30 minutes putting each chair together with 10 allen-head bolts/screws and 2 wood screws per chair. They are quite sturdy, but watch out, one leg/arm combo was mislabeled and caused some assembly problems until I realized that it was in fact mislabeled as to left/right, and also, when screwing in the wood screw to attach the arm to the leg, be sure not to overly drive the screw into the wood too deeply, otherwise you will end up with the screw tip just breaking the surface of the top of the arm. We really wanted wooden chairs and were on a budget, and we are quite satisfied with these. Although we bought seat and back cushions for the chairs, they weren't really necessary, the chairs are comfortable enough with just the bare wood.
