They arrived with one chipped, which I will replace at the store. Other than that, these have held up really well for many Thanksgivings and dinner parties. I sure wish I had seen these first! They are glossy, thick, creamy white and fantastic quality. I would highly recommend! October 8, 2013

I love the look overall, but they chip easily and they are all marked up with knife marks / scratches from just everyday use. When one of my son's friends ate off a plate recently, he asked if had drawn with pencil all over the dishes! Maybe it's just time to get some new dishes, but I was hoping the fact that they were made in Portugal would make them last a lot longer! February 7, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cindra Very disappointed I bought the dinner plates, salad plates and bowls less than a year ago. They were exactly what I wanted and was excited when they arrived. I use them as everyday dishes and since receiving them, easily 70% of all of them are chipped. It's 3 adults living in the house, so they aren't roughly handled. I'm now needing to buy all new dishes to replace them because they look so bad. I would not recommend these. January 27, 2016
