Fairly easy to assemble, but the tiny screws holding the glass did strip and required some extra adjustment. Everything lines up perfectly. The color matches a set of bookcases recently purchased in store at World Market.The look is classy!

Despite some of the discouraging comments, we bought this unit and we're very pleased. The color is more of a mahogany (what we wanted and like the picture) rather than a true "walnut". It was not hard to put together (my little kids helped), and the picture instructions were very clear. All parts are labeled. [...] The glass for the doors is very thick, tempered and high quality with beveled edges so they are not sharp. The door pulls are heavy solid metal with a nice matte nickel finish. All the pilot holes are true. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the finish, though very nice over all, did have some small rough spots. But they even give you a matching magic marker to cover up any dings you may put in it. Very nice solid wood product. Would buy again.

We put our 55" LED TV on the console and it looks great and supports it well! [...]All the big things were there but we were missing screws so we had to wait before we could assemble it fully. Also, our cable box was a little too big to fit in the glass doors so we ended up not putting those on. It still looks nice though and we don't miss the doors at all!

The piece is very attractive, but with any do it yourself assembly it had its challenges. Unless you're an experienced handy-person, it takes two people and lots of patience to put together. The glass doors are not even and one does not fit properly. We'll be contacting the manufacturer on that. Everything else fit great and despite the uneven doors, we really like it.

This is a beautiful piece. However, CAUTION as I had to take the glass doors off to allow for my cable box to sit on the shelf and to be able to use my remote with it. Additionally, my DVD player was just a bit too long to sit and have the doors close flush. Even with the doors off it is beautiful and holds my 40" TV very well. The assembly took me days but it was worth it.

The TV console received was exactly what I was expecting. [...] the instructions were clear and all the necessary hardware and fittings were included; in fact they added one additional piece for all the various screws in the kit. The unit went together easily and quickly. I was surprised that the unit assembled completely square and plumb with not much effort to do so on my part. The unit is surprisingly strong and solid when completely assembled and was easy to move about and into its proper place.

It's not particularly difficult to assemble, but it takes longer than other prefab furniture I've put together. The finish quality could be better, but it still looks quite nice. It's very shallow--measure your components carefully. I neglected to account for the depth of the knobs on one of our pieces and we had to cut out part of the back panel to accommodate it! All in all, it's not a great piece of furniture, but it's reasonable for the price we paid.

This product is NOT as represented. Claims to be a walnut brown finish, even the picture looks walnut brown. However, opened the box and it was the most un-natural cherry color you could imagine. Did not even look stained! Rather the color looked painted on.
