These are really gorgeous! I was excited to receive them as they were even better than I expected. I've only had them a couple of weeks and sadly, one of them has chipped already. That seems unusual to me as I have had one set of everyday dishes for over 20 years and none of them have chipped. I decided to not let that incidence affect my overall rating as maybe the chip somehow occurred in the dishwasher and not due to any fault of the workmanship. Only time will tell.
