Note: sold as a single book end, if you are looking for a pair, buy two. With this said, these are great book ends. The quality is that of World Markets famous imports: stylish, crafted, and slightly "worn." The weight on these is sufficient for a large spread of paperback and hardbound books without giving way. The globes are attractive, and the craftsmanship is solid. For the price of two, this is a good bargain overall.

The bookend was very attractive and seemed well made. I only wish I had paid attention to the fact that only ONE bookend comes in the order. This was a Christmas present for my daughter so it was a little disappointing when I opened the box to check it out before wrapping it, and there was only one bookend in the box.

This product is really pretty, but buyer beware…they display two in the photo, but you are really only purchasing one. You get a bookend, not a set of bookends.

Like other reviewers, I thought it was a pair of bookends.
It's lovely, but I wish 1) it had been a pair and 2) it had appropriate axial tilt. I'm a nerd and I like things authentic.
I've never bought bookends that weren't sold in pairs. Disappointing. The closest store to me is over 2 hours away so I really can't check these out in person.
