Rated 5 out of 5 by Sunshine50 Beautiful! Love them. Bought two of these to go on either side of my entertainment/tv stand. They look great. The open sides are perfect since my room is narrow and they don't make it look closed in. They were easy to put together. The parts were all there and the instructions were perfect. I'm a 72 year old woman and I assembeled them by myself. Had to call someone to stand them up after assembly, but he had no trouble. Nice quality, good value for the money. September 28, 2015

Solid wood on frame and shelves are solid wood and composit. Seriously thinking about buying another one for the bathroom. I think anyone who buys this will be happy:) June 4, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by LaurenL High-quality, attractive product This bookcase is a steal for the price--solid wood and fine construction make it an attractive addition to our home. The assembly builds in redundancy so that the entire unit is very solid; it also includes wall-mounting hardware for folks in earthquake zones or those who want to secure it to a wall for other reasons (like small children...). It holds approximately 250 books, by my estimates, which means we were able to get a bunch of books out of our moving boxes and on the shelves--hooray! A note on assembly: the task could probably be accomplished on one's own; however, we felt that two people were necessary (one to hold a piece in place while the other dealt with the hardware). The overall unit is also rather heavy--because it is solid wood (yes!)--so you will likely need two people to move it into place as well. Overall, I highly recommend this attractive and well-made bookcase. March 26, 2014
