Why We Love It

Extremely popular because of its spot-on Sauvignon Blanc characteristics and its unbeatable price, Veramonte La Gloria Sauvignon Blanc is a great wine to have on hand for every occasion. Crisp and flavorful with white grapefruit, lime and refreshing minerality, it's the wine you'll want with chilled, raw oysters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Love, Love, Love this wine! A good friend turned me onto this wine and I am hooked. Even my husband (a red wine only kind of guy) likes it. July 14, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by My favorite Sauvignon Blanc I first discovered this wine in NY and when I moved back to TX I was VERY happy to find it at several of my local haunts, including World Market. It's my staple wine. Clean, fresh, and a bit on the sweet side. Don't let the screw top fool you, Veramonte Sauvignon Blanc is fantastic! April 1, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a steal for the quality!!! We found this on display with a quite high score so we tried it and were extremely pleased. Try to get there before we buy the remaining bottles October 5, 2008

Rated 1 out of 5 by Not A Fan My grandparents, sisters and I shared this wine and were left dissappointed. The screw cap should have been a warning sign. It smelled dry, and boy was it. Not at all a light and fruity wine. I expected a light, sweet, fruity, and crisp flavor; however, I didn't notice any of the aforementioned flavors, nor did anyone else. I had difficulty finishing one glass. We all agreed that a Pinot Grigio or a Chardonnay would have been preferred. I may have had a different opinion if I had paired it with a salad, seafood, or a pasta with a white or butter sauce. However, paired with chips and guacamole, we were not impressed. Please remember that every palate is different. You may love this wine. April 17, 2011
