Venetian Quilt 4.1 5 7 7
Beautiful colors! This is a really beautiful quilt and adds a pop of color to my bed. It is surprisingly soft. It is on the lighter side, so if you are planning to use this as the only blanket on your bed you might get a little chilly. I use it with my duvet and it's perfect. Love this quilt! June 12, 2014
Love the fun bright colors. I put this on the foot of the bed on a white duvet and it's beautiful. It adds a great pop of color and fun. April 4, 2014
BEA-U-TIFUL I just got this today, put it on my bed (with the shams that match) and it is absolutely beautiful. I had a duvet cover that I hated because it was such a hassle. This quilt lays so nice with the illusion of weight...hard to explain. March 5, 2014
Beautiful quilt I have ordered several of the Venetian items. The quilt is beautiful. It is not real heavy so you may need another blanket under the quilt. December 30, 2013
Beautiful but expected more I love the quilt, I especially love the pattern. It is gorgeous. But for the price I paid (full price online) I expected it to be a little more substantial. It is VERY light weight. I also thought it came with 2 pillow shams which it didn't. My bad as I misread the listing. I think if the quilt came with the pillow shams it would be more worthy of what I paid for it. I do recommend it if you can get it on sale and are looking for something thin and light. Pretty, but poor quality While beautiful, don't expect this to be a hand-woven quilt made by an individual in India! It's a thin, mass-produced, average quality piece of bedding, and I'm disappointed I spent what I did on it. This is worth $50 tops, in my opinion. I washed it right away as it was quite flat out of the packaging, and this fluffed it out a bit (no, the colors didn't run as another post suggested.) There are loose fibers all over, but don't pull on them as this makes it worse. I use a lint roller everyday, and it always collects fibers, so I'm wondering how long it will be until it unravels completely. There are a few places where the fabric is worn thin and looks ready to rip...and I've only had it 2 weeks! I give this quilt a survival rate of 1-2 years, at the most. Same review for the pillowcases, though we don't sleep on those so hopefully they'll last longer. November 15, 2014
Pretty design and color - blah quality I think the colors and design is beautiful. It's a light weight comforter and washing didn't make the colors run. However, I'm disappointed at the quality. The fabric is soft, but the thread was coming out everywhere by the 2nd or 3rd wash. Laying on top of the comforter is not comfortable! Something about it and/or on it is very pokey and itchy! I wouldn't recommend it. March 9, 2015
