And, we have a bit of an international eclectic look going on in our house, so we wanted something with a bit of a personality and an artisan feel. When we saw this piece in the store, we knew it belonged in our house. Sure enough, it is a beautiful addition. Great character. Excellent quality carving. Good solid wood. These tables are attractive, sturdy, well-built, yet easy to move. The shorter one looks wonderful in our small living room, where it serves as a compact coffee table or as extra seating.
