Rated 5 out of 5 by RockyMountainGirl perfect for smaller spaces We bought a pair of these dressers to go with our rustic, reclaimed-wood, queen platform bed. The bed and a dresser take up most of the floorspace in our bedroom, and there is little room on each side of the headboard for a nightstand. We looked long and hard to find 2 nightstands that were both narrow and complementary to the design ethic of our bed. We were so happy to run across these just as they were coming back into stock on WM. The color, a dark blue-ish grey, goes terrifically well with our darker wood-and-steel platform bed, and the height is perfect; slightly below the mattress height (there is no boxspring), but still easy to reach. The design is simple and looks great with the industrial feel of the bed. These came well packaged - each piece individually wrapped to prevent scratching - and the box it arrived in had a handle for easy carry into the house (thank you, World Market, for such a thoughtful and logical touch!). It took less than 50 minutes to assemble both nightstands, and they're so intuitively assembled that you probably won't even need the instructions. Just big enough on top for a nice lamp, a pair of glasses, and a cup of tea, with a small shelf below that can support 3-4 books comfortably. The drawer is not large and can't hold much; you won't want to store anything heavy, or that requires you to pull out the drawer more than half way, or it's likely to come out. For our needs, however, these nightstands are perfect: pretty, well-constructed, and functional, and a terrific value. We're very pleased! May 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeanie great value We bought this for our daughter before she moved out into her first apartment to attend college. It is sturdy, attractive, a great value. She's had it for about 18 months now and she is in no way careful with it, it still looks new. She has left cups of water or cans of soda on it without coasters and it has never damaged the finish. I will definitely be getting one to add to our spare room. April 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by JamiKay77 Fabulous Nightstand Really cute nightstand and great quality for the price. Tobacco blue color is really unique... just a slight blue tone so it's still very neutral to go with anything. I love the little drawer and the modern look to the shape of this nightstand. Rated 4 out of 5 by Buck Good Product I really like the product - well made, went together nicely... I want to get another one... the only problem I had was that the product had a Warning Lable Sticker attached to the backside of the stand - it wasn't one of those that came off easily... I had to really work to get it off - even took some of the finish off (a small circle) that I had to fill in with a marker to make it look okay. Luckily, it was on the backside to the stand. There should be some kind of sticker that comes off easily or attach the Warning Label with a string that can be cut off. Bill Tennant September 17, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by vazman13 Nice nightstand, but with a few deficiencies. First and foremost, we received the tables in good shape. They were packed well. Tools included for assembly and instructions were clear. Parts went together well. As for the tables themselves, once assembled, they seem fairly well constructed and sturdy and the finish is nice. They are an average height and next to our bed with high mattress/box spring combo, they fall just a bit below the surface of the bed. Which works well for us. We have a few concerns about them. First, they are fairly narrow, compared to the height. I'd imagine if you put them on a thick carpet or an uneven surface, they'd tend to tip. Same concern if you put moderately heavy items on top. We have them on a laminate floor and they tip a bit if pushed. Second, the mechanism to keep the drawer from falling out is inadequate. We don't have anything in them, but if you loaded them up, they'd likely sag/fall out if pulled to the maximum open position. Third, the bottom shelf is made of very thin material. I'd be concerned about putting a pile of books or magazines on it. Last, the finish on the top does not look like it would stand up to much abuse, from say heavy, rough items or cup rings and the like. Id' recommend coasters, felt under items and/or a getting a glass top for them. However, we have yet to use them long enough to testify to this fact. Conclusion: Nice tables, well built, nice color. Seemed designed for light duty and to support smaller items. July 23, 2014
