Wonderful Chocolate Chip Peppermint Scones! I couldn't believe how easy these were to make--my brunch guests were walking up to the door just as I was just mixing these up. I didn't want to bother patting them into scone shapes, so I just sprayed cooking spray into a cake pan and baked them up! Took about 5 extra minutes, but worth it! This was wonderful for the peppermint aroma and taste, along with the mini chocolate chip! Everyone agreed these were great! I even savored the lone remaining 'scone" the next day for breakfast. Yum! Part of our holiday traditions We kook forward to making the scones every Christmas. The aroma of peppermint when you take them out of the oven is so good!! November 30, 2011
Perfect! Could not taste any better! Have these for breakfast. Could not buy better. December 13, 2009
Easy but nasty tasting The mix was easy to make but tasted nasty and artificial. Bought it because I had surgery and wanted to make some seasonal baked goods for Christmas day. I was able to make sitting at the table with minimal effort, but no one would eat them. I ate 2, then threw them all away. Not good at all. Part of it was the flavor wasn't really right for breakfast. But I didn't like the texture either. It was too spongy for a scone. Weird stuff. January 15, 2014
