St. Martin Occasional Bench with Cushion 4 5 3 3
Comfortable Bench I love this bench. Comfortable seating for two and very easy to put together. I did it by myself in less than an hour. A couple of tricky screws, but overall easy. I've had it for a month and it is holding up very well in the San Antonio, Texas heat. I added an extra cushion to the back of the bench and it took it from 100% comfortable to OH MY WORD comfortable. I also got the matching storage bench from the collection and found that by removing the top pad I could use it for a coffee table. That saved me some money at the time because the coffee table was not on sale. July 11, 2014
Love it! I bought the occasional bench, coffee table, and two occasional chairs, along with some pillows and outdoor mat. and I love them! I do believe that these pieces will need to be oiled to obtain proper maintenance. But you would need to do that with any outdoor wood furniture. I looked for comparable pieces elsewhere, and these are by far most bang for your buck. Assembly took awhile. It helped to move piece around for best angles to get screws in. depth of bench makes it very comfortable. I also found that seaside blue spray paint from home depot (in gloss finish) matches the teal in the outdoor mat perfectly and used that to paint outdoor sconces, light, and planter. May 4, 2014
nice looking but difficult You get what you pay for. Low price? The first one arrived broken unrepairable. The second one was also damaged but I was able to fix it up during assembly, which took many hours. One of the slats on the seat was hanging off due to a bent screw during assembly. I consider myself good at this, but it took alot of fiddlling to make the bolts go in. One bolt is still not in all the way. In the end, after a good oiling the piece looks very sweet. I am ultimately happy with it, but it wasn't easy. It fits nicely on my balcany. April 4, 2015
