I love clotted (Double Devon) cream. We make our own tea parties with the grandchildren and have scones, jam, sandwiches, etc. The cream on top a scone with jam is a must.

I have to preface this by saying that I have never been to England and don't have anything to compare this to. Nevertheless, from what I'd heard of clotted cream being somewhere between whipped cream and butter, this lived up to the hype. For some time now I have wanted to experience a traditional cream tea, so I made some scones, and my mother and I enjoyed them with this delicious cream, strawberry jam, and lemon curd. We were both in heaven. My only complaint is that it's pretty pricey but this size bottle is more than sufficient for two people who want to experience a little decadence now and then. Highly recommend. I had heard that it was difficult to find clotted cream in the U.S., so I was very surprised to learn World Market carried it. Will definitely buy again.

My brother-in-law is British and I try to buy something from England for him every year. This year it is the Devon cream.

Other than this being quite expensive, it was a pretty good buy. I put it on my Heinz Spotted Dick and it made for a really tasty dessert.
