We bought these bowls and love them for foods like pasta dishes, Asian dishes and big salads. They also work very well for serving. They are heavy and durable. They have become our go-to bowls for a multitude of uses. I agree with a bit of a previous review that they may be too large for cereal (unless you feed teenage boys!) yet they are great for about everything else. These are terrific bowls and we are happy with the purchase.

I bought these bowls for cereal and they are huge. They could be used for serving dishes, but not to eat out of. I returned them, because their size isn't real practical and for serving dishes I could do better.
