This is such an awesome desk. It has so many smart and hard-to-find features, while being much more beautiful than the typical, ugly, utilitarian work desk.
I already had a cheap but nice and functional desk and didn't especially need a new one, but when I saw the store model in person and learned that it was on sale, I ordered it immediately. Seeing it in person first definitely helped my decision, but the fact that it had great reviews also influenced my purchase.
Function: excellent for a small space. It's actually a little less wide than my previous one, so it takes up less floor space, while being smartly designed to actually hold more in and on it. The sliding function is great; I've been wanting something like that for a long time. I use this as a computer desk and it allows me to have my monitor (on the upper shelf), giant keyboard, mouse, and even tablet out at the same time without fighting for space. Or, you can slide it out while eating or writing in a notebook and still have room for everything. The drawers are so helpful, too. Keeps papers and other clutter at bay.
Form: I love the antique look, and it's sturdy and easy to put together. The only part I'm not a huge fan of are the legs, because they're very thick and the faux "distressed" paint job looks a bit silly. But on the other hand, the design and thickness are partially what make the desk so sturdy, and if it really bothered me I'd just paint them all black (now that it's set up it my space, I don't even notice it).
Overall it's beautiful and has made using my desk easier without breaking the bank.
P.S. tip for those who live in walk-up buildings: this is NOT that heavy, but you need to take it out of the box and carry it up in pieces. (It's wrapped well, so it's safe to do so.)

I tried to get a floor model, from the reviews I read on putting together, it didn't fit in my car, so one of the ladies, Gloria in Temecula said just take a box one home it is so easy to assemble, (TY it was so easy) so I did, it was a piece of cake, it fits perfect in my room matches my bedroom furniture, this is such a nice desk, price is good. highly recommend. Love your store.

This desk was exactly what I was looking for. Rustic/antique finish with great functionality in a fairly compact size. Good, solid material and easy assembly. Overall, great product!

It was a little taller than expected. I envisioned a laptop being able to be closed into the desk but the drawers are a bit wider than expected.
Needed to use a brown furniture marker on one small, for lack of a better term, "scratch".
It's a solid piece, and looks great!

We needed a small desk, but one that would have plenty of room for a laptop and storage too, plus look stylish. We couldn't get happier with this desk. It fits in a bedroom perfectly, has plenty of desktop space, is absolutely beautiful and modern looking, and is sturdy and solid.

I was actually expecting it to be smaller than what it was– but this wonderful desk is pretty large. The wood is pretty high-quality and hefty. But, even so, it was really easy to put together– just a couple of screws, and done within 30 minutes. When you pull out the sliding drawer (which pulls out smoothly) my computer sits on there perfectly. I have a lamp that sits on the top-shelf and it goes great with my decor. For the price, I think you're getting a really lovely piece that has an antique feel, tried and true, but is modern enough to fit in any type of space.
