Rated 5 out of 5 by Very cool piece Very cool piece with an industrial chic vibe. The quality is good, it was well packaged, hardware was all there, and it went together easily and quickly - in about 20 minutes by an elderly woman by herself. It's sturdy, a great size, and will work perfectly for my needs. I love the look, quality, and value. It's unique, fun, and functional. July 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love my little desk! This desk is just perfect for me. I work from home and my computer fits, plus there is room for the mouse on the right. There is a storage place which is great for storing my work books, and a hole for the cord on the bottom. It's sturdy, and fits right in the corner of my dining room when I am not using it. Plus, you can move it around whereever you want! It's great, I love it! February 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sturdy, great look, but too high Just got this assembled. Took me an hour to do - machining could e better and eventually gave up getting one of the locking washers in place - the bolt was just too short. Also tried the little wrench that came with it, but it was taking the skin off. Eventually pulled out a couple ratchets, and got it all nice and tight, so it wobbles only a tiny bit from front to back. No wobbles at all from side to side. I'm typing on it now and have my forearms resting on it -- which I couldn't do with one of the "as seen on TV" type of tray-desk. It's very heavy, and I can't imagine a cat knocking it over,UNLESS the cat lands so that the desk would be tipped backward. It does tip easily in that one direction. The only problem is the height. When I use it sittiing on the couch, there's a good 5 inches between the tops of my thighs and the bottom of the desk. Then there's another 3 inches to the top of the desk. (It's 28" high). That's just too high to type comfortably if you're around 5'5". There's a WM store nearby that would probably be happy to have one for sale already assembled. Not sure I'll keep it. If it were 26" high, like the other oversize laptop desk WM is selling, it would probably be perfect for me. January 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very nice look I use my school desk laptop table all the time. I love the fact that is has a storage space. Works well with the other furnishings in my home. Somewhat "rustic" in look and design. It is a little un balanced and my cats have jumped on it and knocked it over two or three times in the months I"e had it. January 8, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great piece but difficult to match We really like the way this piece looks. It's a great wood finish. But it's difficult to match with other things, especially in smaller apartments. It would make a good desk in a small studio. We eventually exchanged it for something else. September 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by On tall side, but otherwise great table This laptop table was easily assembled and as pictured. It's a good value for the price, and adds interest to my living room. It's much more attractive than most laptop tables out there. However, it's a bit tall for typical use, about chest high when I'm sitting on my couch. (It's a standard leather sectional.) I imagine this is because of the open storage underneath and needing to leave enough clearance underneath for your legs. So it's a bit awkward to eat on or type, but I'll keep it because it's cute. Rated 4 out of 5 by handy laptop desk I like this laptop desk because it is over-sized and still light enough to move around. It's a little tall, so it is better to use with a tall chair or over-sized furniture. I bought it on sale and feel that was a decent price. Not on sale and it's too much in my opinion.
