Rated 5 out of 5 by Joyful Mason Jar Style Beverage Dispenser
We ordered 9 of these for our wedding and lined them all up in a row! They were adorable! Since they only hold 2 gallons and we had nearly 200 people, we pre-mixed the drinks in large 5 gallon pails and topped the pretty dispensers off as needed. This allowed us to save a lot of money by not paying a bartender. We had NO issues with leakage around the spout. We had some issues with clogging, though, even after straining three times for mixed drinks with berries (seeds) and other things such as mint (mojitos) we had that set off to the side (to be added after poured through the dispensers). This worked well and I highly recommended them! Only thing to note is that with the lid (rubber gasket) tightly closed, no air could get in and it was creating a vacuum! Great if you are going to travel with them! However, for pouring, the lids needed to be un-latched so air could get in the top and liquid therefore came out the spout. A little science experiment that took us a few panicky moments to realize what was happening, but in the end they DID work well. As long as you didnt have cucumbers or lemons in the water, or berries in the lemonade, etc -- they will work fine. Otherwise they will clog!

So my husband broke my previous (plastic) dispenser after a birthday party we threw. I was mad at the time, but now I am happy because I got to buy this beauty!!! Very strong/ thick glass. The plastic spigot doesn't bother me. It works really well and can always be replaced if need be. The only negative I have is that the lid can't be secured when you want to use it. My husband says it has something to do with pressure, but me being a girl I just want it to look pretty.

Read all the reviews on a lot of beverage dispenser and this one seemed to be the best. I have used for the last two weeks for ice tea and it leaked one time. Come to find out, if you do not turn it all the off, it will leak. My husband thought that the seal was no good because I had used it so much, but it just needed to be on the off position. This is a great looking dispenser and for the money you really can not beat this one. I love it. Yes you have to have the lid cracked open to dispense but the lid is great for storing your liquid. Yes it is awkward to wash because it is so big but worth it.

I wanted to start a continuous brewing system for my kombucha (fermented tea, for the uninitiated). I bought an expensive water crock online but it was TOO big. Right after the crock arrived, I found these (and other models) at my local Cost Plus--this one is just the right size, and much less expensive! I sold the crock and bought this instead, and I couldn't be happier.
I removed the top and bailer--the kombucha needs air so I tie a piece of cloth around the top to keep dust and bugs out, while letting air circulate. The wide opening at the top facilitates cleaning and SCOBY management. The plastic spigot is a plus, because a metal spigot would erode with continuous exposure to the acidic liquid. I have had no problems with the spigot dripping. And it's replaceable, if it ever does have a problem.
This is just the right size for me--I'm the only one drinking kombucha in my house and the capacity is just right to be able to draw off about 16 oz at a time and leave enough to keep the ferment going (you could safely take even more). It's not too heavy to slide forward to the edge of the counter to get bottles underneath.
As a great fan of canning jars, I love the look. It's not too big around, so it fits nicely on my counter, and it's attractive. The name "Savannah" is embossed on the jar, so now my kombucha SCOBY's name is Savannah. I'm very happy I bought this jar.

I was thinking of ordering a much more expensive drink dispenser that was very similar to this one when a friend recommended your store. WOW! This is such a nice dispenser for the money. I ordered these for my daughters graduation party and was so pleased at how they turned out. I had a rustic themed garden party and bought three of these to serve lemonade, lemon water and iced tea. The spout is not real metal but it is very well made and turns on and off very easily. Thank you for carrying nice, well made products at reasonable prices!

My husband and I gave this as a gift to a friend who hosts several large parties every year. She squealed with delight when she opened it because it exactly fits with her taste (she cans food) and she didn't have a drink dispenser yet. I picked it because it fit within our budget constraints for gifts and I knew she'd love it. I did warn her about a couple of things. One, the spout might be loose so she may need to tighten it before the first use. Two, do NOT pour very hot—especially boiling hot—liquid directly into it. It'll likely crack the glass and ruin the dispenser. Another thing to note is that the spout isn't stainless or anything. But it will wear well with careful use and storage. I have a similar dispenser with a similar spout and though it'd be nice to have a quality metal version, our spout has held up well with regular use for three years now. You'll be hard pressed to find something as nice as this for less than $100 with a metal spout.

This dispenser is just the look I wanted. The spigot has not leaked for me and I've used it for bday parties and lemonade stands where kids were doing the dispensing. It's too tall to fit in my fridge without having to move the shelves around and lose a lot of space for other items, and I wish there was a stand included with it. As for the vacuum seal, I just remove the rubber gasket ring around the top and then close and latch the lid and that works perfectly - keeping anything from getting inside and allows for a nice flow out the spigot. All in all, I'd like to use it more often but have been very happy with it the times I have used it.

If you love mason jars you will take pride of own this beautiful piece to entertain . I am not crazy with the spigot, but is easy to fix. I will definitely order one more and love them.
