Once assembled the media chest is nice looking. I chose it for the drawers, width to fit a particular space and color of the wood. My disappointment with the product is two-fold. First, it had 25 steps to assemble and about 300 parts/pieces. We have assempled many pieces of furniture and this one was more complicated and time consuming than anything else we have ever ordered/assembled. My second issue is that I don't think the quality is quite what I expected for the price. I thought more of the unit would be solid wood-- most is particle board. For $700 (definitely use a coupon), the piece should have been either nicer quality or required less assembly. Having said that, we will most likely keep it for the reasons noted above.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Yikes Assembly Very difficult and time consuming.
This item was extremely difficult to put together and the finish is very unattractive a lot of waves of black. I would think twice about ordering this item. I was worried about ordering on the internet sight unseen not being able to see it in a store before ordering and not being able to return a large piece of furniture to one of the stores. Unfortunately I didn't listen to myself, now I am stuck.
