The wood is heavy and the construction seems good. Extremely easy to assemble and came very well packaged. I recommend this accent table with two caveats, the first is that there is no way to lock the table to a particular height so it can swivel freely (e.g., I may bump into it and it will spin a bit, which can be unsettling when there are beverages on it), and second the metal received a ding within a week which revealed a small silver fleck under the finish. I anticipate this will happen again but it fits in with the industrial feel so I'm okay with it.

I bought this table on sale, I don't think I would have purchased full priced just because it is quite expensive for what it is. BUT it is a great table and has no quality issues. My husband was so happy it was so easy to put together, unlike most of our other online furniture purchases. It's only 3 pieces and took him about 2 minutes.
The top is a bit thinner than I thought it would be and makes a tinny noise when I set a glass or the remote down, but it's not bothersome. We have it raised about half way (a little lower than the picture) and it is very stable, our dog runs in to it regularly and has not knocked it or anything off of it. The surface area is plenty big for us to put magazines, remotes, cups, etc. but it may be a little small for all that plus a lamp.

this is a nice looking table, but one issue is that the table top will wobble if you raise it up. if the table is lowered as low as it can go, it will not wobble. luckily i use this table at the lowest height....which is normal for an end table.
