World Market has been my exclusive go-to store for all the knobs in my new home, and these are just as cute and unique as all the others I've purchased. However, the one thing I would have really jumped for joy over is if there had been an option to order a shorter screw. The long screws work fine for thicker cabinets and drawers, but I've also used these knobs on accordion closet doors and an armoire, and I've had to come up with all types of creative ways to safeguard against getting stabbed with that huge screw protruding from the other end or allowing it to tear up my clothing.
I ordered this knob for my bathroom medicine cabinet, but the screw had to stay flush on the other end or the door wouldn't close. Soooo, I had to only partially screw it in and then wrap a bunch of jute around the exposed screw on the outside. That solution worked in this case, but would have looked terrible with any of the other wood or ceramic knobs I've bought before.
I don't know if this would be cost prohibitive for mass production, but I do believe there are a lot of us customers who'd love the option!
