I was looking for something to break up all the brown wood pieces in my room. I loved when I found this iron Riveted Floor lamp and the Riveted Lamp Shade I purchased to go with it. It really added some depth to my dining/living room area. I currently have it between those two rooms. Along with the Edison bulb I purchased to go with the lamp and shade, it provides a nice ambience in the evening... a nice light glow that's not overbearing. There is an easy floor button to tap with your toe to turn it on. The lamp is sturdy, different, and elegant all at the same time. I love this lamp, would recommend it, and would purchase again. Also, I have to say everything I get from World Market is well-packed for shipping! Love that about World Market!

My lower level is done in industrial themed items and this lamp fits in perfectly. I also bought the floor lamp shade the goes with this item. The only downside is that there is a switch button for the floor to turn it on and off instead of being more conveniently at the top of the lamp. I have it in back of my sectional sofa and have to reach behind to turn the lamp on and off until I can buy a remote unit or something for it. We used to have a store about 30 miles away but it closed. I miss that because I spent quite a bit there. Just an idea: Wait for free shipping because they will charge you $10 upcharge on shipping for the lamp and the shade. I use this every day.

I was looking for something different and found it with this floor lamp. More for mood lighting when used with the Edison bulb and definitely a conversation piece. Fits in nicely with my industrial style living room.

This lamp base is very quality and looks awesome. It goes great with our vintage industrial decor. It's a LOT bigger than I thought - I didn't pay attention to the dimensions. I bought 2 for our livingroom but 1 probably would have been fine. Definitely a statement piece.

I bought the riveted floor lamp shade first for another floor lamp I already had because it was on sale and I loved the look. When I received it I was kinda surprised at how large it was and it didn't fit my existing floor lamp at all. So I took the financial plunge and bought the riveted floor lamp even though it was not in my budget. I couldnt be more happy with it. It is beautiful in an industrial, unique modern yet classic kind of way. I love how WM provides decor and furniture that mixes both the classic and contemporary, and that description fits this lamp. I only wish I had the NYC loft to go with it! It is a very large shade/lamp and kinda overwhelms my small space, but I don't care. Its a gorgeous piece. I bought a 40watt antique style/edison lightbulb for it and its so cool. It attracts a lot of attention and provides great atmospheric lighting!

This lamp is a bit to low so it is good to check carefully dimensions before you buy. I didn't checked, so i didn't blame the company. Overall it fits in nicely with my industrial style living room. It arrived quickly and was packed exceptionally well.
