Why We Love It

Crafted in India exclusively for World Market, our Red Khadi Chair Cushions are made from hand-spun, hand-woven cotton. In the nineteen twenties, Mahatma Gandhi began promoting khadi, which literally means cotton in Indian, as a means to strengthen India's economy. The richly dyed cotton is spun into threads on a spinning wheel called a charkha, creating this lovely accent for your table setting.

Red Khadi Chair Cushion 3.3 5 4 4
Beautiful color, great product I have all dark red accents in my kitchen, and was worried that these cushions would be too bright, but they are just the right pop of color. When I took them out of the box they seemed very plush, but after sitting on them for a few meals, they evened out and are now extremely comfortable. I am completely satisfied with this product. Beautiful Red Cushions These are great cushions that brightened up a new dark rosewood dining set I recently purchased. As another reviewer wrote, the cushions are NOT 17" sq, they are 15" sq. Also the ties could be longer, they are a little short and give barely enough length to tie a bow. Other than that, they look great. I actually like a little of the wood showing around the edges. Please make these in purple! Love these chair cushions but really need them in purple. I have the purple placemats and want the cushions to match. I can't find ones I like anywhere else. Please World Market make them in purple! March 20, 2012
Not the size they say they are These are nice cushions, however, the label states the finished size is 17" by 17". They are not - they are only 16" by 16". I'd bought two to fit on a 34" wide bench and there is a clear 2" gap. I shouldn't have to take a take measure to the store when buying a cushion - I should be able to rely on correct labelling. Not impressed by this at all, especially as I will have to make a 35-mile round trip to return them. May 15, 2012
