Rated 5 out of 5 by wiscogirl Awesome Value Love this! My previous pour over dripper had a shut-off valve that "held" the coffee until brewed. I was worried that I wouldn't achieve the same taste without the valve. It turns out that the small hole allows the coffee to drip very slowly so that great taste is achieved with much less hassle, and at a small fraction of the cost! It also stores easier, looks better and fits all of my mugs (even my skinny travel mug). I'm the only coffee drinker in my house, but will definitely buy another for when I have guests. Rated 5 out of 5 by AllAboutThatBasil Simple and perfect Ideal coffeemaker. Makes a much more delicious cup of coffee than any drip coffeemaker and takes up 1/10th of the space! This fits best on top of a mug (even if it's pretty wide-mouthed) and doesn't take very long at all. I live in a tiny apartment so I love that I can just make a cup of coffee and then put it in the sink to cool off. It is SUPER easy to clean and then I can put it in the cabinet and have clear counters! It is thick ceramic too so I don't have to worry as much as I would with my glass french press. March 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Shelly26 Delicious, smooth, simple to brew coffee The coffee made using this pour-over method is smooth with wonderful flavor. While my drip coffee machine works just fine, I find that the coffee is not as tasty (probably thanks to all the plastic coffee travels through in a coffee machine). I do suggest "pre heating" this product by pouring a little boiling water through it prior to making the coffee. This does improve the flavor of your brew, and helps your coffee filter "stick" and stay in place. One of my favorite things about this little guy is how easy it is to clean! At this price, even if it doesn't hold up for long, I can certainly afford another. October 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Thankful Mother Red Euro Coffee Dripper Rec'd.'coffee dripper' as a Mother's Day gift, glad my daugh listened to her boyfriend & gave it to me Sat. Had my 1st cup Sun AM even though running late still had time for my flavored coffee. Instead of using paper filters I used the gold mesh basket that came w/our coffee maker. This A.M. I used skim milk instead of water. Voila`, a wonderful latte` made with the coffee I bought at Wld.Mkt.'Very, Very Vanilla'. Heat to just boiling 1-1/2 Cups water or milk pour over 3 sm. coffee scoops of coffee or 1 of the pre-pkg'd. 1-Cup packs for the large expensive machines. Love having hot FRESH coffee anytime!! Rated 4 out of 5 by Walt A real beauty for large mouth receiving containers The orifice from which the brew drips is so short that the liquid runs to the outer edge of the area intended to fit inside the receiving liquid. That is no problem when the receiving container has a wide mouth; however, to fill my thermos I made a lathe turned adapter and found that much brew dripped outside the area above the thermos mouth and ran down the outside. I will glue a very small funnel beneath the orifice that will direct the dripping liquid to remain centered. Otherwise, I admire the Ceramic Drip Coffer Filter holder. Just be sure to premeasure the liquid needed for the receiving container as the filling process is not visible. April 4, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Evangeline Tiny hole = NO DRIPPING I was originally attracted to the bright red as so many of this ceramic cones are white and our #2 cone is white. I was in the market for a #4 cone and this one is GORGEOUS. It's color and form are fantastic - and then the hole drilled in the darn thing is TOO SMALL TO USE> it's a fail. save your money.
