The red bar stools add just the touch I was looking for in my farmhouse style kitchen. They are best for perching for short periods which is all that is needed at my kitchen island. They were easy to assemble once I caught on. :-) They seem very sturdy. The only issue I've found so far is that a couple of the stools had small places where the red paint had come off. This is not a big deal in this setting since my style in this home is rustic, but it could be an issue with other buyers.
