For years, I've owned two sets of these dinner plates, and they've been perfect for those "big" dinner occasions - Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter! I finally broke down and purchased the salad/dessert sized plates and these are equally excellent! The quality is great, and the black iron rack is an added plus, although I've never had the need for it yet. The plates are a bright white that goes with everything, and are still in perfect shape. I do run them through the dishwasher.

I purchased these plates to replace my old everyday dishes. They are the perfect blank slate for everyday meals and special occasions. I can accessorize these to dress them up ... perfect! And the rack is great for storage and buffet. You simply cannot beat the price!

Saved the day! I needed 16 place settings for a party, I wanted all my plates at least at my main table to match and I don't have enough plates of my everyday plates to cover this need. I was planning to purchase new everyday plates but first, I don't want 16 place settings of the pattern I hope to buy, but also right here at Christmas, don't have the extra money to splurge on dinnerware. These white plates are perfect for entertaining and the simplicity of the white, matches any occasion. I did want a pop of color, so I ordered a colored salad plate to set off my table and the 4 extra dinner plates I was lacking, I used at the small table and made it for the children and used my holiday plates. They are porcelain so they will be delicate and easy to chip or break, this is why I won't use them for everyday, however, for special occasions, they give a nice clean, crisp look to a table. I love they also come in a serving rack...if you're not setting the table, you can stick this on the end of a buffet table and it adds a rustic feel.

I was so surprised at how unbelievably wonderful these dishes are. They are not cheap, and they have perfect weight. I would have expected these dishes to be more expensive.
