Rated 5 out of 5 by Sunshine1 PERFECT! Small size, easy to use, it works! I got this to crush pills for my dog, to mix into his food so he cannot pick out the food and leave the pill pieces. For months I had been spending lots of time with a pill cutter trying to cut and cut and cut until the pill was in tiny pieces. This mortar & pestle does the job much better, and in about five seconds! Small size is great -- enough space for crushing pills yet not bulky. It is very easy to smash the pill and it works great. No mess either. I LOVE it! Thanks for saving my time twice a day! December 28, 2015

Rated 1 out of 5 by E123 Fit for a dollhouse! This mortar and pestle was good for one thing - my fiance and I laughed about it for about 5 minutes when I took it out of our box of WM goodies!! This thing is TINY! It is good for a doll! Luckily, it was quite inexpensive so we keep it in our cabinet for giggles. The mortar bowl is about 2" across and the pestle is approximately the size of my normal size female thumb. Be aware of the size! You couldn't grind very much in here - maybe two or three cardamon seeds at a time? (Generous!) See my photo with a quarter for size comparison. Otherwise it appears to be of good quality and withstood a dishwashing well. July 10, 2013
