I got 5 of these chalkboard pigs for friends as Christmas gifts, and used a white Sharpie paint pen to put a permanent design on them. One problem with these is that they have scuff marks on them that don't come off. I guess this makes sense due to the low price. The biggest problem was the price tag sticker that World Market put on the chalkboards. They were very difficult to get off, and left behind a terrible residue. When trying to use products that remove adhesive, it would take the black color of the chalkboard off and leave a permanent mark. This was so frustrating, especially since they are being given as gifts! The chalkboard had a product sticker as well, and those came off easily and didn't leave behind any residue. The actual pig is very cute and bigger than expected.
