Best for tea drinkers My mum came over from England and I spent some time living in England, so I have an appreciation for a few English items and PG Tips is my preferred tea. I don't drink daily, but when I do, I must have PG Tips, one for the pot and one for me! Some milk, and a few digestive bisquits. Oh, maybe tonight! April 26, 2012
Best tea This tea has a great flavor, it's easy to carry with, and also comes in decaf. December 25, 2011
My "desert island" tea... I first heard of PG Tips from an Oprah guest who was from Britain (wish I remembered her name) who said this was simply the best tea. Period. I saw it at Cost Plus, and never turned back. If I could only choose one tea for my cabinet, it would be PG Tips. By the way, I cold brew it every night for drinking iced the next day- put 2 bags into a pitcher (4 cup) and cover with water. Place in the refrigerator to brew overnight, fish out the bags in the morning and enjoy wonderful, pure iced tea all day. September 23, 2011
Tips is the BEST! First tasted Tips during our first trip to England and have been drinking it ever since. It is the only tea I drink. Please stock the decaf! August 3, 2011
Now THIS is tea. I was raised in a family of Irish immigrants to whom tea was a constant, but nevertheless vital part of every day. Tea to wake up, tea with breakfast, tea and scones in the afternoon, tea with dinner, tea to go to bed. Tea to celebrate an occasion, tea to comfort in troubled times, tea for parties, tea for conversations, tea to show love. My Auntie Josie made the best tea ever. I think she got it mailed to her from a cousin in Ireland. I had never been able to duplicate it until I found PG Tips. Now, make no mistake, this is powerful tea. You can't put a bag in a mug with cold water and put it in the microwave, or it will revolt and tasted horrible. This tea must be treated like the sacrament it is. Bring a kettle of fresh water to a rolling boil. While waiting, scald the large teapot (pour very very hot water into it and let it sit to heat the pot, then discard) Bring the scalded and emptied teapot to the stove, and put ONE teabag into it just before pouring the boiling water over it. Important: Never put the teabag into the water. Always pour the water over the teabag. Cover the teapot with a tea cozy or if you don't have one, wrap it in a dish towel. Set a timer for 7 minutes. When it rings, remove the teabag and serve the tea with milk (and sugar if you like it sweet). July 31, 2011
I love PG Tips Years ago, some friends from South Africa started me drinking tea with milk, and eventually I discovered PG Tips. One PG Tip will take the place of 2-3 regular black tea bags, such as Bigelows English Breakfast. A morning mug of tea from PG Tips is strong like coffee, but much smoother and not bitter. Also there is no tannic acid taste to sour my stomach like Liptons does. I cannot imagine drinking it without milk, but then I never drank coffee black either, which BTW I've since given up. I've tried Typhoo, but to me PG Tips just taste alot better. On those rare occassions when I want to drink tea without milk, I choose to brew something else. May 2, 2011
Best Cuppa Ever!! I can't say enough how much I love this tea. I do not remember how I came about it, but I do know I haven't found anything I like better. Others I've tried are good, "Tips" is just the best. February 18, 2011
WONDERFUL TEA I have converted 2 friends, albeit, not intentionally. I was making tea and offered some to my friends. The looks on their faces after the first sip was priceless! Words just cannot describe how WONDERFUL this tea tastes! mmmmmmm February 1, 2011
